Mikheil
Orjonikidze
Mikheil Orjonikidze is an associate partner at "KH & PARTNERS" and an expert in corporate, civil, administrative, and criminal law. With 22 years of experience as a lawyer and attorney, Mikheil is a member of the Georgian Bar Association.
Education:
- 1984: Graduated with honors from Tsitelkhevi First Secondary School.
- 1992: Graduated with honors from the Transport Faculty of the Georgian Technical
University, specializing in "Bridges and Tunnels," earning the qualification of civil
engineer. - 1992-1997: Studied at Tbilisi Independent University "Iberia," Faculty of Law,
specializing in "Law," and graduated with honors.
Professional Experience:
- 1993-1997: Worked as a bridge engineer at the State Concern "Sakavtogza," 10th Road
Maintenance Department. - 1997-2000: Enrolled in the Tinatin Tsereteli Scientific Research Institute of State and
Law at the Georgian Academy of Sciences, specializing in criminal law. - 2000-2004: Served as a senior specialist and later as the head of the legal department at
the Large Taxpayer Department, Didube-Chugureti Regional Tax Inspection, Revenue
Service of Georgia. - 2004-2005: Held the position of senior specialist in the Legal and Appeals Review
Department of the Tbilisi Tax Inspection, Ministry of Finance of Georgia. - 2005-2007: Worked at the customs terminal "Opiza" as a lawyer, head of the legal
department, and head of administration. - 2009-Present: Member of the Georgian Bar Association with general specialization and
a certified juvenile justice attorney. - 2012-2013: Senior investigator at the Anti-Corruption Investigative Division, Tbilisi
Prosecutor's Office. - 2014: Prosecutor at the Vake-Saburtalo District Prosecutor's Office, Tbilisi.
- 2014-2015: Prosecutor at the Mtskheta District Prosecutor's Office.
Throughout his career, Mikheil has also worked in various private companies as a legal advisor.
He has passed the tax, prosecutor, and bar qualification exams and is fluent in Georgian and
Russian.
