According to the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 37 foreign nationals were expelled from Georgia last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some of the foreigners left the country voluntarily, while others were forcibly expelled by the Migration Department. The expulsion was carried out based on the “Law of Georgia on the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among those expelled were citizens of Moldova, Egypt, Armenia, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Migration Department is responsible for combating illegal migration in Georgia and is tasked with identifying and expelling foreign nationals who do not have a legal basis for remaining in the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
